Volleyball Game Preview: Glenbard East Rams vs. Glenbard North Panthers

The Glenbard East Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Glenbard North Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Glenbard East is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Glenbard East came up short against West Chicago and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Glenbard North also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Wheaton North by a score of 2-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Glenbard North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20.

Glenbard East's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-14. As for Glenbard North, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Glenbard East came out on top in a nail-biter against Glenbard North in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
