Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Prep Eagles vs. Morris Catholic Crusaders

The St. John's Prep Eagles just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Morris Catholic Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. John's Prep is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when St. John's Prep took on Xaverian Brothers on Friday. St. John's Prep came up short against Xaverian Brothers, falling 56-31. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morris Catholic). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Mountain Lakes 94-49. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.

St. John's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Morris Catholic, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
