Soccer Recap: East Lincoln Victorious

East Lincoln's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past the Jacksonville Cardinals 3-2. That's two games straight that East Lincoln have won by just one goal.

They hit Jacksonville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Nikitchuk, Carter King, and Tayden Dockens.

The victory made it two in a row for East Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Jacksonville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

East Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Jacksonville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Richlands on the 25th.
