Football Recap: South Wake Comes Up Short

South Wake fell victim to North Raleigh Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Knights and fell 45-0. The loss leaves the Lions still looking for their first win of the season.

Davin McCoy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Raleigh Christian Academy, rushing for 159 yards and three touchdowns. McCoy has become a key player for the Knights: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

South Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
