Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Academy Flashes with a sharp 44-20 victory. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

St. Joseph Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Addison Maushart, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Chloe Arkin, who had six points.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.9 points. As for St. Joseph Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-38 victory against Atlantic on the 14th. St. Joseph Academy and Matanzas will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
