Baseball Game Preview: Woodville Panthers vs. Brindlee Mountain Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Woodville Panthers duke it out with Brindlee Mountain Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodville has now lost 11 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 18th.

On Monday, Woodville came up short against Columbia and fell 10-5.

Case Robertson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Carter Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Brindlee Mountain fell victim to Douglas and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Woodville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brindlee Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
