After losing to Abilene Christian the last time they met, Covenant Classical decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cavaliers snuck past the Panthers with a 62-56 win on Friday. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 54-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory made it two in a row for Covenant Classical and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Abilene Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

As of now, neither Covenant Classical nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
