Softball Game Preview: Asheville Cougars vs. McDowell Titans

Asheville hasn't had much luck against McDowell recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Asheville will head out to challenge McDowell at 5:00 p.m. Asheville has given up an average of 15.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Asheville is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 28th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 14-0 to T.C. Roberson.

Asheville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camila Wyda Wyda, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, McDowell came up short against Enka on Friday and fell 6-2.

McDowell's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5. As for Asheville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
