Jasper Roseberry Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Cody-Kilgore had to settle for second even though Jasper Roseberry put up the best numbers he has all season. Roseberry rushed for 245 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.6). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Cody-Kilgore is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Roseberry and Cody-Kilgore will square off against Minatare on Thursday.

A Season-Best Effort from Jack Hunter Leads Sioux County over Cody-Kilgore
Jack Hunter produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sioux County to the win on Friday. Hunter rushed for 243 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles (0.5 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Hunter might have his next game, a home matchup with Crawford, circled on his calendar. Hunter rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in September of 2023.

Grady Gorwill's Big Game Leads Arthur County over Crawford
Grady Gorwill was instrumental in extending Arthur County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Gorwill was dynamite, rushing for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending a pass.
Arthur County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Gorwill and Arthur County will take on Hay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Baxter Reece Makes It Two for Sioux County
Another Sioux County player making an appearance on this list is Baxter Reece. He rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.
This year, Reece has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 53.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 87 rushing yards.
