Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Comes Up Short

Brooklyn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 69-54 bruising from the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-42 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Brooklyn lost, don't look at Devin Hardwick. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 39 points and nine rebounds. Hardwick's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tyler Cox was another key player, putting up eight points.

Brooklyn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cuyahoga Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Brooklyn has already played their next match (against Bard Early College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cuyahoga Heights has already played their next contest, a 46-33 win against Berkshire on the 14th.
