Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Titans vs. Cerritos Dons

Pioneer is 0-9 against Cerritos since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Pioneer Titans will welcome the Cerritos Dons at 4:45 p.m. Pioneer is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Tuesday, Pioneer made easy work of Saddleback and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Pioneer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Cerritos suffered their biggest defeat since March 7, 2024 on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Fountain Valley. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Dons were not able to get on the board.

Cerritos has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Pioneer pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
