Volleyball Recap: Groveport-Madison Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Groveport-Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lancaster Golden Gales. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Gales this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Groveport-Madison took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-11.

Groveport-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lancaster, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record.

Groveport-Madison and Lancaster could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Cruisers will square off against Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (591 vs. 258). Meanwhile, Lancaster (ranked 286th) will meet Pickerington Central (ranked 67th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
