Basketball Recap: Royal Valley Comes Up Short

Royal Valley lost against Holton on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royal Valley Panthers took a hard 62-43 fall against the Holton Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brayden Peek continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Holton, going 9-for-17 on his way to 23 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Peek a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Bodie Dillon, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points and six assists.

Royal Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-3. As for Holton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

As of now, neither Royal Valley nor Holton have any future games scheduled.
