Blair-Taylor posted their closest win since October 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Shell Lake Lakers 2-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Lakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The win got Blair-Taylor back to even at 1-1. As for Shell Lake, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair-Taylor will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pepin/Alma at 7:00 p.m. on October 9. As for Shell Lake, they will venture away from home to take on Grantsburg at 7:15 p.m. on September 4.
