Basketball Game Preview: Webster Bearcats vs. Milbank Bulldogs

Webster hasn't had much luck against Milbank recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Webster Bearcats will head out to face off against the Milbank Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

Webster is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They were beaten by Leola/Frederick 70-42.

Meanwhile, Milbank had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 60-48.

Milbank pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Webster, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Webster lost to Milbank on the road by a decisive 68-49 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Webster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
