Volleyball Recap: Alliance Has No Trouble Against East

Alliance's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over East. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Alliance was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-7, 25-21.

Tasia Hendershot was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 15 digs and 14 aces. Those 14 aces gave her a new career-high.

Hendershot wasn't the only good servers: Alliance was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. The Aviators are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Alliance is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season. As for East, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Coincidentally, Alliance and East will both be playing Chaney the next time they take the court. East will head out to face the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Aviators will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
