St. Augustine had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Matanzas on Monday. St. Augustine put the hurt on Matanzas with a sharp 11-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

Xavier Ahr was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jordan Petty, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
