Football Recap: South Oak Cliff Bears vs. Terrell Tigers
South Oak Cliff extended their postseason success on Friday against Terrell. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 45-17. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 28 points or more this season.
South Oak Cliff had a senior duo take command as Mikail Trotter rushed for 236 yards and four scores while picking up 14.8 yards per carry and Levon Morton rushed for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those 237 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Morton.
South Oak Cliff was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 499 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Despite the loss, Terrell still got an impressive performance from RODERICK HAMBRICK JR., who rushed for 109 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. JULIAN ASHLEY helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.
