Softball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover fell victim to Kennard-Dale and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dover has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Kennard-Dale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will venture away from home to take on Big Spring at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season. As for Kennard-Dale, they will head out to challenge West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
