Baseball Game Preview: Webutuck Warriors vs. Dover Dragons

The Webutuck Warriors will square off against the Dover Dragons at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Webutuck is looking for their season's first win.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Webutuck and Rhinebeck had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors fell 5-2 to the Hawks on Tuesday. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Hawks since Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dover). They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over Ellenville on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Webutuck's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dover, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.
