Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brewer). They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Flour Bluff Hornets on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

They hit Flour Bluff with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonathan Cortez, Helio Flores, Pablo Llanos, and Damian Merida.

Brewer's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Flour Bluff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Brewer will be taking part in a tournament against Northwest at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Flour Bluff, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Corpus Christi Moody at 8:00 p.m.
