Basketball Recap: Klawock Comes Up Short

Klawock lost against Kake back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Klawock Chieftains fell 62-51 to the Kake Thunderbirds.

Klawock's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Kake, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kake beat Klawock by a score of 61-35 on Wednesday.
