Softball Recap: North East Carolina Prep Takes a Loss

North East Carolina Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Gates County Red Barons. If the Husky were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Red Barons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North East Carolina Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Gates County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Barons beat North East Carolina Prep by a score of 13-2 on Friday.
