Volleyball Game Preview: Hammond Golden Bears vs. Long Reach Lightning

Hammond is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Long Reach a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Hammond Golden Bears will look to defend their home court against the Long Reach Lightning at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hammond came up short against Howard on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-4, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Long Reach came up short against Guilford Park on Monday and fell 3-1.

While Long Reach ultimately came up short, they really made Guilford Park work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Long Reach's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
