Baseball Recap: Lower Richland Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lower Richland's offense. They came up short against the White Knoll Timberwolves on Wednesday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Diamond Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lower Richland has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-1 record this season. As for White Knoll, they moved to 5-20 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Lower Richland will take on Irmo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Knoll, they will face off against Mountain View Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
