Football Recap: Nathan Stokes Leads Prairie View Academy's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

Prairie View Academy won the last time they faced Riverdale Academy, and Hayden Little did his part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans breezed past the Rebels to the tune of 46-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Little, who rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 73 yards and a pair of TDs. He didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Prairie View Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nathan Stokes, Evan Morris, and Little picked up one apiece.

Prairie View Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 44.0 points this season. As for Riverdale Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie View Academy will challenge Union Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverdale Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Briarfield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
