Raytown South is 8-2 against Winnetonka since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raytown South Cardinals will face off against the Winnetonka Griffins at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Raytown South took a blow against Grandview, falling 61-30. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Winnetonka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-16 loss at the hands of Grandview.

This is the second loss in a row for Raytown South and nudges their season record down to 3-13. As for Winnetonka, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.

Everything went Raytown South's way against Winnetonka in their previous matchup on February 3rd, as Raytown South made off with a 45-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Raytown South since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
