Basketball Game Preview: Teays Valley Vikings vs. Lancaster Golden Gales

The Teays Valley Vikings will square off against the Lancaster Golden Gales at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Teays Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Teays Valley turned things around against Logan on Friday. They blew past the Chieftains 53-32.

Meanwhile, Lancaster ended up a good deal behind Newark on Friday and lost 62-48. While losing is never fun, the Golden Gales can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 365th, while the Wildcats are ranked 103rd).

Teays Valley's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Lancaster, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
