Baseball Recap: Cordell Takes a Loss

Cordell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blair Broncos, falling 10-2. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 19-0 to the Broncos when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Corben D was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Cordell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Blair, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

Cordell will square off against Merritt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blair, they will face off against Riverside Indian at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
