Football Game Preview: Burrell Bucs vs. Valley Vikings

The Burrell Bucs will take on the Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burrell will be strutting in after a victory while Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Burrell is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They slipped by East Allegheny 29-28 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Valley was beaten by Freeport 42-7 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Burrell, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Burrell beat Valley 15-6 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Bucs repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
