Football Recap: Jurupa Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jurupa Valley had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it six. They were beaten by the Arrowhead Christian Eagles 49-19. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

When it comes to explaining why Jurupa Valley lost, don't look at Ben Fuimaono. Despite the final result, he rushed for 89 yards and two scores.

Arrowhead Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Josh Rice went supernova, throwing for 251 yards and five TDs on only 19 passes. Riley Ramos also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Jurupa Valley and Norte Vista will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Jaguars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Arrowhead Christian, they will welcome Bellflower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
