Softball Recap: Tracy's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Tracy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Kimball on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Kimball Jaguars by a score of 7-5. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Emalee Cargill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Ava Crivello also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Tracy's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Kimball, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tracy will face off against Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lodi's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Tracy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kimball, they will challenge Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kimball is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
