Pennfield waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans with a sharp 8-2 victory. Considering the Panthers have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pennfield's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Thornapple Kellogg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-23 record this season.

Pennfield will venture away from home to face off against Hastings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Saxons at the right time seeing as the Saxons are stuck on a 22-game losing streak. Thornapple Kellogg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
