Baseball Game Preview: Canyon Hills Rattlers vs. High Tech SD Storm

For the second straight game, Canyon Hills will face off against High Tech SD. The Rattlers are taking a road trip to square off against the Storm at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Canyon Hills earned an 8-3 victory over High Tech SD. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Evan Zinn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josue Flores, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Canyon Hills: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-13-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dylan Barroga, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Canyon Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as High Tech SD only managed seven hits.

High Tech SD dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Canyon Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13-2.
