Basketball Recap: Columbus HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Columbus HomeSchool kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers 62-25.

Despite the loss, Columbus HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Peyton Lucas, who posted 12 points.

Shawe Memorial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Columbus HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-40 victory against Southwestern on the 2nd. As for Shawe Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-39 loss against Austin on the 2nd.
