Castle View has gone 9-1 against Ponderosa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sabercats will face off against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Castle View is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Rock Canyon just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-19.

Castle View's defeat came about despite a quality game from Bradli Brown, who had 13 digs.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa lost 3-0 to Regis Jesuit on Thursday.

Ponderosa was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25, 25-17.

Castle View now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went Castle View's way against Ponderosa when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Castle View made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabercats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
