Volleyball Recap: Puxico Comes Up Short

Puxico saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gideon Bulldogs.

Jalynn Ford was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Puxico's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gideon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Puxico will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Gideon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Meadow Heights on the 13th.
