Soccer Recap: Mazama Falls to Hidden Valley

Mazama was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hidden Valley Mustangs.

Mazama has now lost nine of their last 10 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have a 3-7 record this season. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 3-0-1 Klamath Union and 3-0-1 Henley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 79.7% over those games). As for Hidden Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Coincidentally, Mazama and Hidden Valley will both be playing Cascade Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Vikings will head out to face the Challengers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
