Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against Lexington, falling 9-3. If Rogers was looking for revenge after losing 8-5 to Lexington when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ariela Gutierrez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Rogers nor Lexington have any future games scheduled.
