Baseball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison extended their losing streak to six on Wednesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They lost 17-2 to the Lodi Blue Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Monday.

As for Lodi, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1. Considering they have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Lodi's part, Lucas Suarez was excellent, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Alfaro, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Looking ahead, Harrison will look to defend their home field on Friday against Secaucus at 4:00 p.m. As for Lodi, they will take on Wood-Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
