Flora won the last time they faced Wayne City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Flora Wolves took down the Wayne City Indians 55-37. The Wolves pushed the score to 47-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians cut but never quite recovered from.

Wayne City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rhyver Tibbs, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jax Scarbrough, who posted 12 points.

Flora's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Wayne City, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flora will host Edwards County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
