Williamsburg had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Curwensville Golden Tide on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Williamsburg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.

Raina Alexander paced Williamsburg's offense, picking up five kills. Alexander got some help from Maura Cresswell and her nine assists. Alexander was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Williamsburg's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Curwensville, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsburg will host Tussey Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Curwensville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glendale at 7:00 p.m.
