East Carter's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Bath County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

East Carter and Bath County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Raiders will challenge Portsmouth at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (33 vs. 417). Meanwhile, Bath County (ranked 47th) will meet Bourbon County (ranked 146th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
