Mount Airy Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joey Stanton, who posted 13 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Stanton has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Brewer, who earned 16 points.

Mount Airy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Heritage Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.
