Sweet Springs won against Lone Jack last Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Greyhounds beat the Tipton Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sweet Springs and bumps their season record up to 17-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Tipton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Sweet Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tipton, they will head out to challenge Warsaw at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
