Basketball Game Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Bowling Green Bobcats

Ross and Bowling Green are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Ross Little Giants will be playing at home against the Bowling Green Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ross will be strutting in after a win while Bowling Green will be coming in after a loss.

Ross will head into Friday's game after some sweet revenge against Findlay: Ross made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Findlay, but still couldn't quite topple them. Ross blew past Findlay 49-27 on Friday. Given the Little Giants' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Trojans are ranked 658th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green had to suffer through a 64-37 loss at the hands of Perrysburg. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Ross is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Bowling Green, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything came up roses for Ross against Bowling Green in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 63-36 victory. Will Ross repeat their success, or does Bowling Green have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
