Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dallas HSAA). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Northside Lions Sports Association Lions 62-20. The Angels haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Dallas HSAA got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Rooney out in front who rushed for 119 yards and two scores on only nine carries. Rooney also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss). Dallas HSAA also got help from Arlen Wasneuski, who showed off his sure hands for 94 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was Dallas HSAA's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Rooney, Clayton Boswell, and Ryn Johnson, who each picked up one sack apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Northside Lions Sports Association lost, don't look at Deklen Kearney. Despite the final result, he rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Kearney has become a key player for the Lions: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

The win got Dallas HSAA back to even at 5-5. As for Northside Lions Sports Association, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
