Basketball Recap: Lake Arthur Comes Up Short

Lake Arthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 60-43 fall against the Hondo Valley Eagles. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-27 back in December of 2024.

Lake Arthur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hondo Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Arthur will challenge Melrose at 6:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Hondo Valley, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
