Volleyball Recap: Monroe Area Takes a Loss

Monroe Area lost against Apalachee two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Purple Hurricanes fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

While Monroe Area was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11.

Monroe Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Apalachee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe Area will venture away from home to face off against Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Apalachee, they will head out to take on Walnut Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
