Basketball Game Preview: Westlake Thunder vs. Pleasant Grove Vikings

The Westlake Thunder will head out to take on the Pleasant Grove Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Westlake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Lehi, who was ranked 20th at the time (Westlake was ranked 12th). Westlake fell to Lehi 66-60.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove beat American Fork 53-45 on Tuesday.

Westlake's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. As for Pleasant Grove, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Westlake strolled past Pleasant Grove in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 80-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westlake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
